![]() Sustainability Workshop/West Teams stefon gonzales Stefon "SEPTA" Gonzalez loves cars and subways. He loves burnouts and everything associated with drag racing. Stefon graduated from the Sustainability Workshop - also known as the Haugerwarts School of Automotive Magic - in June 2012. Stef is the EVX Team's go-to mechanic when anything needs to be done on our competition cars. He has traveled with the Team to X PRIZE competition and to the 2011 and 2012 Green Grand Prix. He is also frequently called upon to write for the Team and to speak on its behalf. In 2011 he was the Captain of the Conrad Foundation's Spirit of Innovation Team, which won the Clean Energy Division of the competition. In 2011 he traveled to Lynchburg, VA to work in Edison2's shop building the body of the Electric Very Light Car. This summer he returns for the third year to work as an Intern for SEPTA.In September he will be a full time SEPTA Apprentice and a part-time student at CCP. Stefon has tremendous energy which he always directs in a postive way. At school he is a true leader. When he is not in school, he reads and watches anything to do with cars. He loves the sight, sound and smell of burning rubber whenever a car races away from a stop, even though it is not the envrionmentally correct thing to like. |
