About the Workshop School

The mission

of the Workshop School is to unleash the creative and intellectual potential of young people to solve the world's toughest problems. Students at the Workshop develop academic skills by working on real world challenges.

The Workshop School

is a project-based School District of Phildelphia high school in West Philadelphia. Learning at the Workshop is rigorous, academic, and hands-on. All students receive their own laptop and work with new technology including 3D printers and laser cutters. Programs of study include Pre-Engineering, Automotive Technology, and Automotive Collision Repair. Projects prepare students to succeed in college, or for a career.

The EVX Team

is an after-school program at the Workshop School. Students and teachers work collaboratively to design and refine a variety of electric, hybrid, and alternative fuel vehicles.
