The Conrad Foundation's Spirit of Innovation Challenge is an international high school competition.

The Progressive Insurance Automotive X PRIZE was an international competition to build cars that achieve 100 MPGe.

In 2008, the EVX Team competed in Ford Global Technologies' Model T of the 21st Century design competition. 

The Tour de Sol was a green car competition organized by the Northeast Sustainable Energy Association (NSEA).
